Vivian, known in Japan as Yukiko Kudo , is Jimmy Kudo's mother and wife of Booker Kudo. She was a former actress who was trained in the art of disguise by Toichi Kuroba but gave up her career at age twenty to marry Booker. She occasionally shows up in Japan to see her son. Because of her reputation as the wife of a famous mystery author and for involving herself in some criminal cases which she occasionally helps to solve, she has been given the nickname, "The Night Baroness" after the main character that her husband created for his mystery novels. Her Japanese voice actress is Sumi Shimamoto and her English voice actress is Laurie Steele.
